Position description:

Horizon Health Network, Saint John area (Region 2), is actively seeking a temporary (locum) full-time Plastic Surgeon. The physician shall provide both inpatient and outpatient services and will provide on-call coverage in coordination with four (4) other members of the Division of Plastic Surgery with sub-specialties in maxio-crainial facial surgery, hands, reconstructive surgery. The physician will be located at the Saint John Regional Hospital which serves as the trauma centre for the province of New Brunswick.
The established practice has full time administrative support proficient in booking office and clinic appointments and OR procedures in the three care centers utilized by the service. OR resources include access to ambulatory clinics, local OR and minor surgery & hand clinics shared with the team.
Department of Surgery members are encouraged to be part of the surgical teaching program affiliated with Dalhousie University Medical School and Memorial University Medical School postgraduate programs and teach in the undergraduate program at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick. 
Horizon has an annual budget of approximately $1.1 billion and has more than 12,600 employees, 1,100 physicians and 5,200 volunteers, auxiliary and alumnae members, as well as 17 foundations and 18 auxiliary and alumnae organizations. Horizon ensures representation from urban and rural areas through a 15-member Board that consists of 7 appointed and 8 elected members of the public.
These responsibilities are basic.  Additional duties may be assigned from time to time as may be necessary to the operation of Horizon Health Network: provincial on-call schedule. REMUNERATION:
Fee-For-Service which is a direct compensation between the physician and Medicare New Brunswick.
