The Saint John Regional Hospital, a facility within Horizon Health Network, is recruiting a 6 month locum obstetrics and gynecology physician. On-call coverage is done in coordination with other members of the division.

Alternative Funding Plan (AFP)
Remuneration for the position is based on New Brunswick Medicare’s Alternate Funding Plan (AFP)
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology requires that their members have passed the examination of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in their specialty in order to be eligible for active membership. Candidates with Royal College eligibility may be considered. Applicants must also qualify for licensure in the Province of New Brunswick.

Horizon’s Saint John Regional Hospital is the largest tertiary care hospital in New Brunswick and is the primary health care referral centre for this area and to all New Brunswickers for major trauma and cardiac care.
The New Brunswick Trauma Program, New Brunswick Heart Centre, and the New Brunswick Stem Cell Transplant Centre are located within the hospital, as are Radiation Oncology and Nephrology services. This site offers autologous stem cell therapy and a stem cell processing laboratory.
The Saint John Regional Hospital also serves as the centre for Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick’s distributed medical education program. The hospital services a catchment population of 170,000 people.
The Saint John area offers you a broad range of affordable housing options, from heritage properties to executive homes within the city and in nearby Kennebecasis Valley. Saint John, a booming harbour city is Canada's oldest incorporated city (1785) and home to the country's oldest museum and farmers' market.
